SFSD 2026 Licensed Employees of the Year
Silver Falls School District is proud to recognize our 2026 Licensed Employees of the Year — educators who were nominated by their fellow staff members and selected by district staff for the incredible impact they make every day for students, families, and colleagues.
Jon Harrington was recognized for his unwavering dedication to students and staff through his leadership in PBIS, behavior support, social-emotional learning, and crisis prevention. Colleagues shared that Jon has a unique ability to connect with students, mentor fellow staff, and create environments where students feel safe, valued, and capable of success.
Megan Lierman was celebrated for bringing learning to life through engaging classroom experiences, extracurricular opportunities, and meaningful connections with students. Staff highlighted her ability to meet students where they are while encouraging them to reach their full potential.
Kristy Zollner was honored for the structure, care, expertise, and positivity she brings to her kindergarten classroom every day. Fellow staff praised her resilience, preparation, and calm leadership, noting the incredible support and reassurance she provides students while managing a large class with kindness and grace.
Scott Towery was recognized for his extraordinary commitment to students through hands-on learning, mentorship, and high expectations in the welding and FFA programs. Colleagues shared that Scott’s servant leadership, dedication beyond the school day, and focus on student success have created lasting impacts both in the classroom and beyond.
