School News

What an amazing time we had at the Harvest Carnival! A huge thank-you to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make it such a success. We appreciate you!

Our Lost and Found is still overflowing! Please remind your student to take a few minutes to look through the items and see if anything belongs to them.

From Mrs. Turner

First & Second grade took a wonderful field trip to Beilke Farm to learn about apples. They had the opportunity to learn about the apple growing process and sample some apples! It was a great day of learning.

PTA News

I’d like to take a moment to recognize our outgoing Booster Club President and volunteer extraordinaire, Alicia Bickel! Alicia has dedicated countless hours to supporting Bethany, from helping with the Oktoberfest booth and Harvest Carnival to organizing and leading Booster Club meetings.

A very special thank-you to Alicia for her incredible dedication, hard work, and commitment to our school community. We are so grateful for everything she does for our Bobcats!

If you have any questions, feedback, or ideas our monthly PTA meetings are open to all Bethany families every third Tuesday or you can reach the president through my email pta.susie@gmail.com"

Clubs Begin

4-H

We have submitted our 4-H charter application to the OSU Extension Service with our proposed club name, Bethany Bobcats! Our main advisors are Mrs. Knoll (Animal Science and gardening) and Mrs. King (Statics, sewing, cooking, etc.)

Our first meeting will be Wednesday, October 21, at 3:00 p.m. in the gym. Snacks will be provided!

This is an important meeting, so please come prepared to:
  • Choose a project or projects you would like to participate in
  • Meet some of our project advisors
  • Help choose our regular meeting days and times
  • Elect club officers
  • Learn the 4-H pledge
  • Get to know other members of the club

The Bethany Bobcats 4-H Club is open to homeschooled students and students from other schools and districts, as long as they live in Marion County.

If you are unable to attend the first meeting, please let Mrs. Knoll or Mrs. King know so we can arrange another time to meet with you and get you signed up.

We are excited to get our new club started and look forward to seeing you there!
